The ecological commitment of your campsite near Roscoff
Campsite committed to sustainable and responsible tourism in Finistère
Founded in 1973 by René and Thérèse Kerbrat, Saint-Politan farmers, the Ar Kleguer campsite has always made a point of blending in with its surroundings. Values and a philosophy handed down from generation to generation.
In keeping with their deep-rooted values and respect for their land, Paul and Odile Kerbrat subsequently passed on to their children the keys to developing this green haven dedicated to campers. Today, the Kerbrat family has created a green haven dedicated to campers.
The pitches are spacious and shaded, and the gîtes and mobile homes are naturally integrated into their surroundings to preserve the natural landscape.
Our actions in favor of the environment
At our campsite near Roscoff, we use bicycles to maintain our gîtes and mobile homes, to limit noise, risks and pollution… Discreet, non-polluting, they transport our equipment and cleaning products, which are eco-responsible and optimized.
To save water, flow restrictors have been installed.
The simplest gestures are also the most effective: a quick shower, a basin for washing dishes, turning off the water while brushing your teeth, etc.
Limiting the production of waste and sorting it is our commitment and everyone’s responsibility:
- Sorting : recycling bins are available on the campsite and in each rental unit.
- Composting : bio-waste (organic waste) is collected and composted to nourish plantations. Dedicated garbage cans are available for everyone.
- Respect the instructions: each waste has its own garbage can. Simplified instructions are posted.
- Pick up : help us keep our environment and coastline clean. Don’t litter.
Every gesture counts in preserving our environment, yours and ours. Let’s get involved together. We recently installed solar panels on two sanitary blocks. These panels will heat the water in the communal areas. So you can shower in the warmth of the Breton sun! In this way, the campsite is switching to renewable energies, limiting its consumption of fossil fuels. With this eco-responsible gesture, the Kerbrat family is increasingly committed.
