The GR34 is a long-distance hiking trail, also known as the “sentier des douaniers”. This trail, almost 2,000 kilometers long, is a must for hikers in Brittany. It runs from Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Nazaire. It also runs along the Breton coast, allowing you to stroll for pleasure for an hour, a day or longer, while enjoying the beauty of the Breton landscape.

The history of the GR34 goes back to the 20th century. The trail takes up the abandoned paths used by customs officers patrolling the coastline. The GR34 also passes through key points on the Brittany coast. The program includes some exceptional surprises, with breathtaking landscapes close to nature.

Our campsite, close to the GR34, is located on the stretch between Morlaix and Douarnenez (504km). To avoid any confusion, the paths are marked in white and red.

Venture out on the 2-day, 47.5km section of the GR34. It links Morlaix and Roscoff. Along this part of the GR34, you’ll be able to admire Morlaix, the town of three hills, Locquénolé, Carantec, the private château of Kernevez and, of course, Saint-Pol-de-Léon. To find out more about this 2-day hike, visit the official GR34 website.
