Start the Vélomaritime
EuroVélo 4 EV4 at the campsite in Roscoff
Roscoff is the starting point for several cycle routes known as véloroutes and voies vertes. Cycle routes cross several regions on safe, pleasant paths over varying distances. There are two main cycle routes starting from our campsite: the Vélodyssée (EV1) and the Vélomaritime (EV4). The Vélomaritime heads east along the entire North Sea coast, crossing only a small part of Finistère.
While EuroVélo 1 winds its way down the Atlantic coast, passing through some of our region’s landmarks and mixing sea and inland. In Finistère, the Vélodyssée runs from Roscoff to Carhaix Plouguer, stopping off at Morlaix. This makes it the best itinerary for crossing Northern Brittany and exploring the diverse landscapes along your cycling journey.
